HERITAGE
Avanti Engineering, Inc., specifically the word "Avanti" translated into English means "Move Forward". This is exactly what Joseph J. Bratta, President/CEO, has done in the past three decades.

In 1971, Avanti Engineering, Inc. began what would be a long term relationship with the specialty machined parts industry, starting out primarily as a Davenport house. After a few years and establishing our base, Avanti Engineering, Inc. began to "move forward" with various types of equipment.

We wanted to diversify so that a buyer could not only buy Davenport parts from us but could also buy a larger variety of component parts. Large diameter parts, small diameter parts with secondary operations such as mill flats, cross drilling and tapping, slotting, broaching, special finishing requirements, plated, heat treated, ground, and in quantities from tens and hundreds to thousands and millions. Today Avanti Engineering, Inc. is a full service screw machined parts supplier also offering Computer Numerical Control or C. N. C. turned parts. This new era of machining has allowed us to diversify even greater and to continue servicing our customers and their full service needs. Flexibility is our middle name.

Our success can only be attributed to one variable: "Satisfying Customers". Since day one our philosophy has been superior service + quality work + competitive pricing = customer satisfaction. Avanti Engineering, Inc. has been able to grow over the years because we have observed and followed through with this philosophy. We have always treated and will continue to treat our customers the way we want to be treated.

Of course, along with our growth and directly responsible for this company's success is, without a doubt, the loyalty of our employees. From the very beginning, Avanti Engineering, Inc. has always believed in internal promotion. Take good dedicated "beginners" and train them to become somebody they never thought they could become "professionals". Some of our best machine operators today started out sorting parts and turning chips. It is not uncommon to walk through our shop and see the same dedication that was present 20 plus years ago. Our people cannot go unrecognized. Our people ARE Avanti Engineering, Inc. through thick and thin.

In today's job shop environment we face challenges that in the past might have seemed unrealistic, such as: zero defects, JIT delivery and frequent schedule changes. For three decades, Avanti Engineering, Inc. has complied with our customers' strict demands and will continue to do so.

We recognize that to be consistent means standardizing our internal processes and training our people accordingly. Through our dedication and diligence we have earned the honor of being recognized as Quality System registered to ISO 9001: 2000 as of November 15, 2001.

Our commitment to provide our customers with world-class manufacturing is demonstrated by our understanding client expectations and then performing and improving upon those same requirements.
 
SCOPE
Even with the amount of flexibility and diversity available at Avanti Engineering, Inc., unfortunately we cannot be or do everything economically for everyone. Our primary business interest, in which we are the most competitive falls under the following industries:

From an equipment standpoint our multiple spindle machines and flexible C.N.C. departments seem to be our primary focus. We have been able to take complex parts requiring five, six and seven operations and complete these complex parts in their entirety. In turn, we reduce handling, set-up and potential damage to parts ultimately reducing cost.

Avanti Engineering, Inc. has quite a unique "Just In Time" program that has enabled us to create higher plant efficiency, maintain lower cost and satisfy delivery demands that are virtually impossible.
