Davenport Operator with a minimum of 2+ years Experience. Must have experience with various attachments and job shop environment. Must be able to sharpen tooling and reset. Also, you must bring your own tools and micrometers.
Purchasing Manager
This is a full time position requiring 2-5 years experience. Asssociate Degree required.
Job Purpose:
Obtains supplies, services, and equipment by directing procurement, contractual services, disbursement of materials, and warehousing programs.
Meets purchasing operational standards by contributing financial information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying system improvements.
* Meets purchasing financial standards by providing purchasing department annual budget information; monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions.
* Develops sources for the procurement of supplies, services, and equipment by attending demonstrations; contacting vendors; attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks;
* Procures supplies, services, and equipment by establishing minimum and maximum inventory levels and reorder quantities; reviewing purchase orders for authorization and/or unusual usage; communicating with vendors; selecting products and equipment described in the bill-of-materials.
* Provides information regarding supply, service, and equipment selection by responding to requests for sales orders; providing current pricing for bid opportunities; recommending substitutions or standardizations.
* Sustains competitive product pricing by negotiating raw material costs; discovering new sources; updating bill of Materials with price changes.
* Maintains procurement and receiving operations by developing policies and procedures; designing forms and/or systems; ensuring verification of incoming shipments, costs, delivery, product quality, and inventories.
* Maintains quality of supplies, services, and equipment by defining quality standards; discussing defective or unacceptable goods, services, or equipment with vendors; determining source of trouble; resolving disputes; obtaining Return Materials Authorizations (RMAs); ensuring replacement of defective goods.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
