In recognition of Manufacturing Day 2017, Avanti Engineering, Inc. will be hosting a facility tour & presentation for high school and college students who are enrolled in manufacturing classes. Manufacturing Day is a day devoted to inspiring young manufacturers. As a leading manufacturer of screw machined parts in the US, Avanti Engineering extends this opportunity each year for students to gain practical understanding of high volume machining and turned products. Student will get hands on experience in manufacturing screw machine products and CNC Swiss machining.
MFG DAY provides manufacturers an opportunity to open their doors and show, in a coordinated effort, by what manufacturing is — and what it isn’t. Working together during and after MFG DAY, manufacturers will begin to address the skilled labor shortage they face, connect with future generations, take charge of the public image of manufacturing, and ensure the ongoing prosperity of the whole industry.
Avanti Engineering’s facility tour and presentation will be held on Manufacturing Day October 12, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 200 W Lake Drive, in Glendale Height, IL.
