For many students the summer fun has ended and it’s back to school. Students in high school are starting to think about their future and planning career paths. As is customary in their support of the community, Avanti Engineering wants to help this next generation explore opportunities in manufacturing.
It’s become a time-honored tradition for Avanti Engineering to participate in Manufacturing Day. Each year on MFG Day, manufacturers across the nation open their facilities for students to tour. This provides them an opportunity to experience the day to day operations of a manufacturing company. Given the current skilled labor shortage, the importance of this day grows each year in generating awareness to manufacturing roles in high demand.
Avanti is dedicated to giving area youth a glimpse into what it would be like to work in the manufacturing industry. On October 5th, 2018 Avanti will invite area students for a facility tour and presentation from 9am to 12pm. Avanti supports today’s students for their future tomorrow.
